Coach Crider came to Stanton in 2013 after spending seven years teaching and coaching at Lake Shore Middle School as the Head Football Coach and Athletic Director. Coach Crider received his master's in athletic administration degree from the University of North Florida, where he also lettered in Mens' Soccer. Coach Crider is a certified athletic administrator and received the CAA designation in 2016. He played basketball, football, and soccer at Fletcher High School and has stayed local throughout the years. Coach Crider has a six-year-old daughter and enjoys coaching her soccer teams. He has also coached the JV Flag Football team for the past six years.

I have two children, Jennifer and Joey, Ages 29 and 28.  I graduated from University of North Florida with a health science degree. Went to Sandalwood High School, played baseball and basketball . Played baseball at Gulf Coast State College, Pensacola State College and University of North Florida. 
Have coached at many high schools in Jacksonville, with my longest stint being at Sandalwood.
Currently have 3 previous players that are now in major league baseball and numerous more in major league farm system. And of course many in college baseball.
Won district championship this year at Stanton high school. Sean Miller and Jackson Spencer are two of my players from Stanton that are continuing there baseball career in college"

Starting defensive end University of Florida for three seasons. Started coaching career at Bishop Kenny. Lost 11 games in 10 years. Three times coach of the year. Assistant head football and defensive coordinator at Georgia Southern University winning 3 national championships with 1 runner-up. Kodak college coach of the year. Brought the Blue Devils their winningest season with 7 wins in 2017.

Father of three Stanton graduates. My wife is a DCPS teacher of 33 years. Two granddaughters. My daughter-in-law is a Stanton AP Science teacher. My oldest son is an environmental scientist. (Bobby) Middle son is a manager of one of the biggest plumbing wholesalers in the southeast (Brandon) and my youngest is finishing his education degree to become a teacher in January (Brian). Bobby and Brian were both varsity soccer players and Brandon was a varsity swimmer and baseball player earning a division one scholarship to play baseball. BA from UNF in Physical Education K-12 and a certification in Health. Dept. chair for PE and Health for twenty years. Helped start the Stanton athletic program in 1990. I raised money for uniforms and equipment and assisted the AD in securing practice facilities and coaches. I was on the committee to assure the focus would be academics first but build an athletic program the students, parents and coaches would be proud of. Founded the Stanton varsity and JV baseball teams (9 years)and finished with a record of 120-80. Founded the Stanton boys' and girls' swim teams (still the coach) with a dual meet record of 176-28. Numerous gateway conference championships (8), District Championships (22), and two regional championships and coached three state champions. Started the girls JV soccer team because there was a need to let girls be involved in soccer. We grew the program to over 40 girls. Stanton fastpitch softball coach for 14 years with a record of 226 and 91 with three gateway conference championships, numerous district championships one regional championship, and one state final four. JV boys soccer coach (current) and varsity assistant (current). On the staff of numerous district championships regional championships and two state runner-up teams and three state final four. I have been teaching in Duval County for 35 years and coaching in Duval for 38 years getting my coaching start at Sandalwood Jr. Senior High.

Coach Ennis began playing volleyball in 1992, while in the 10th grade. She has amassed the ‘Volleyball Trifecta’ by participating in the sport as a player, coach, and official. Playing collegiately at Florida A & M University, she was a member of their back-to-back MEAC Championship teams in 1995 & 1996. She has coached high school volleyball for 20 years. For 12 years, she coached at one of the premier volleyball clubs in Florida, the Jacksonville Juniors Volleyball Association (JJVA). Tangela is also a Certified Regional Official, and loves to continue growing in the sport of volleyball each and every day!

Junior Varsity Girls Soccer Coach 3 years--Teach the fundamentals of the sport and prepare athletes for the next steps in their playing careers.  Assist the Varsity Coach and Athletic Director in game preparation, player paperwork, and uniform and equipment inventory and maintenance.  Competitive record as well as ensuring equal player development opportunities.

Boys Golf Varsity Coach 2 years. Responsible for recruiting, training, and coaching team members.  Assist the Athletic Director in scheduling matches.  Competitive record as well as consecutive advancement to Regional Finals.

Boys Varsity Lacrosse 1 year. Responsible for recruiting, training, and coaching team members, as well as the development of assistant coaches.  Assist the Athletic Director in game preparation, player paperwork, and uniform and equipment inventory and maintenance.

I love coaching our student-athletes at Stanton College Prep. I am proud to give our students the opportunity to play on a team, unlock their potential, and be their best!

Stephen Stone

Head Coach - Varsity Boys' Socer

After retiring from the U.S. Navy, and attending UNF earning his Elementary Education Degree, in 1992, Coach Stone was asked to coach the boys’ varsity soccer team at Stanton by a parent of a club player he was currently coaching. He has been at it ever since. His overall record of 485 wins, 183 losses and 96 ties and includes 16 District Titles, 6 Regional Titles, 2 Gateway Conference Titles, 6 entries into the State Final Four and 2 appearances in the State Final game. He continues to coach at Stanton for the love of the game and the endless number of outstanding student athletes that come to Stanton each year. Additionally, he was an assistant coach for Stanton Baseball and Stanton Girls Fast Pitch Softball.
